Personal care support may be required across a variety of settings. The main purpose of this service is to maximise the independence and functional skills of the participant. The service helps participants in moving around the house. personal hygiene, help with meal preparation and other daily personal activities.

By supporting your decision to live the life you choose, we support your everyday life. The support we offer is flexible and tailored to your preferences, needs, goals and outcomes. Our experienced and friendly professional nursing team provides support to ensure your NDIS goals are met.

We are able to offer a range of supports to assist participants with, or supervision of, personal tasks of daily living. We can support you in a SIL (Supported Independent Living) or SDA (Specialised Disability Accommodation) environment or your own home with differing activities.

Personal care supports may be required across a variety of settings. For example, a participant living alone in their own home or with family undertaking social, recreational, education or employment activities.

This may include but not be limited to:-

  • Personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing and grooming
  • Toileting
  • eating and drinking
  • Attending appointments
  • Use of aids and appliances
  • Mobility and transferring, for example moving in and out of bed and on or off the toilet
