Frequently asked questions

Get Answers to your questions

  • You must be under 65 years of age.
  • You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a Protected Special Category Visa (SCV).
  • You must have a disability that impairs your ability to carry out daily tasks.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is run by Australia’s National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disabilities to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.

It is for eligible Australians born with or people who have acquired a permanent or significant disability.

A permanent disability refers to a person’s disability that is likely to be lifelong. A significant disability implies that the disability will have a large impact on the person’s ability to perform daily activities.

At Tree of Life, we offer expert care to those living with a disability and their families, allowing our clients to live as independently as possible, at home. Our caring and knowledgeable staff will make sure that you or a loved one who has a disability receives the best care possible while always respecting their autonomy and keeping their sense of dignity.
NDIS service providers are significant stakeholders in the NDIS ecosystem. Our support workers ensure that people who are living with disabilities achieve their desired goals. At Tree of life, passionate and empathetic caregivers have been offering people with disabilities high-quality, confidential, in-home care and services in client’s own premises.
